A Certified Family Nurse Practitioner practices independently and makes decisions regarding
health care needs of the individual, including the prescription of necessary medications,
and the management of our patients care under the direction of this facility's medical director.
By employing a full-time family nurse practitioner, The Meadows is able to provide a more immediate
response to the needs of the more medically acute patient that we service on our rehabilitation
and residential care unit.
