Phyllis began her career at Daniel Health Care in 1974 as Office Manager. She moved from north Mississippi in 1978, but returned as Activity Director in 1986. She was promoted to Social Worker and later became a Licensed Administrator in 1990. Phyllis advanced her career to become a fellow in the American College of Health Care Administrators in 1994, and to a Certified Nursing Home Administrator in 1998. Phyllis was voted Administrator of the Year in the Mississippi Chapter of the American College of Health Care Administrators in 2000. She is a past President of the Mississippi Chapter and has served in various positions as well as being a member of several committees with her trade associations.
